Marcelo Zavros wird den nächsten Film von Denzel Washington vertonen und tritt damit in die Fußstapfen von Mychael Danna (Antwone Fisher) und James Newton Howard (The Great Debaters)
 

 

Marcelo Zarvos has signed on to score the upcoming drama Fences. The film marks the third feature directorial effort by Denzel Washington (The Great Debaters, Antwone Fisher) who also stars in the film, alongside Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson and Saniyya Sydney. The movie is based on August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play of the same title and tells the story of a one-time promising baseball player, now working as a Pittsburgh garbage collector, and the complicated relationships with his wife, son and friends. Wilson has also written the screenplay. Washington is producing the project with Todd Black (The Magnificent Seven, The Pursuit of Happyness, The Equalizer) and Scott Rudin (The Social Network, No Country for Old Men, Captain Phillips). Fences will be released on December 25, 2016 by Paramount Pictures.

Sony Classical wird den Score für den neuen Denzel Washington-Film veröffentlichen. Bin schon sehr gespannt auf den Film und auf die Musik von Marcelo Zarvos. Mir gefällt irgendwie das Cover irgendwie total. Kann nicht beschreiben warum..
 

 

 

Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for Denzel Washington’s drama Fences. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Ray Donovan, The Words, Remember Me). Also included are the songs featured in the movie by Reverend James Cleveland, Dinah Washington and Little Jimmy Scott. The soundtrack will be released physically on January 6, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
