La-La Land Records is proud to announce the release of a brand new Civil War drama from director Sean McNamara (SOUL SURFER) – FIELD OF LOST SHOES. Composer Frederik Wiedmann (Green Lantern TAS, Son of Batman) balances that Americana sound with a robust melancholy score from that tragic period in American history where brother fought brother. The film is based on a true story from the American Civil War, culminating at the Battle of New Market, May 1864. A group of teenage cadets sheltered from war at the Virginia Military Institute must confront the horrors of an adult world when they are called upon to defend the Shenandoah Valley. Leaving behind their youth, these cadets must decide what they are fighting for. Starring Tom Skerritt, Jason Isaacs, Lauren Holly and Keith David, this independent film opens in Limited release September 26, 2014.
