[Soundtrack Composer]

Marco Beltrami revealed in a recent interview with Soundworks Collection that he is composing the music for the upcoming action thriller Hitman: Agent 47. The film is directed by Aleksander Bach and stars Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto and Thomas Kretschmann. The movie is based on the bestselling Hitman video game and follows a young woman who teams up with Agent 47 in order to find her father and her true ancestry. Kyle Ward (Machete Kills), Skip Woods (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Swordfish) and Michael Finch (Predators, The November Man) have written the screenplay. Alex Young (The A-Team, Unstoppable), Chuck Gordon (Die Hard 2, Waterworld, The Rocketeer) and Adrian Askarieh (Hitman) are producing the project.

Hm, klingt eher, als ob das in Richtung NOVEMBER MAN oder (bestenfalls) MAX PAYNE gehen würde. Da erwarte ich jetzt mal lieber nicht so viel.

The details of the soundtrack album for the action thriller Hitman: Agent 47 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (Scream, The Wolverine, World War Z, 3:10 to Yuma). The soundtrack will be released physically next week on La-La Land Records’ website and is also available for pre-order on Amazon. Hitman: Agent 47 is directed by Aleksander Bach and stars Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds and Thomas Kretschmann. The movie based on the Hitman video game series centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. score ist auf spotify.für fans von don davis ecks vs. sewer.sprich absoluter mist.ein paar nette ideen, komplett von aufdringlicher elektronik ruiniert.kaum noch wahrnehmbar das das beltrami war.

auch echt nichts für mich... typisches 0815 Actionscoring der Moderne, hier und da nette typische Beltrami Ideen reingesprenkelt, aber das machts auch nicht wett... naja, Inspiration hat der Film sicher eh keine geliefert.

 

Was die Qualität (und Erfolg) seiner Filme angeht ist 2015 echt nen Tiefpunkt für Marco... was sich auch in den Scores niederschlug.

 

Naja, mit GODS OF EGYPT und BEN HUR wird das sicher anders!
