Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Before the Flood. The album features the film’s original music composed by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, 21 Grams) and Mogwai. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 21, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes. A vinyl version is also in the works. Check out a track from the score after the jump. Before the Flood is directed by Fisher Stevens (The Cove) and chronicles Leonardo DiCaprio’s campaign to raise global awareness about the dangers of climate change in his role as a UN Ambassador of Peace. The documentary premiered last month at the Toronto Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on October 21 before airing on the National Geographic Channel on October 30.

Wahrlich eine sehr coole Kombi, ich bin tatsächlich sehr gespannt auf den Score. Reznor scheint wieder voll in Fahrt zu sein: der hier, dann noch Patriot's Day (unter dem ich mir so irgendwie noch gar nichts vorstellen kann) und neues NIN Material soll 2016 auch noch erscheinen.
