Paul Walker stars in the fast-paced crime drama RUNNING SCARED from critically acclaimed director Wayne Kramer. Walker plays a low-level mobster who, in order to save his family, must recover a gun used in a mob hit before its found by his bosses or the cops. And lest you think its just another mob film, Kramer reveals a deeper subtext within the films story. He says he envisioned it as a childs Grimms fairy tale nightmare, but taking place in a mob world.

The adrenaline-charged score is by renowned jazz composer and trumpet virtuoso Mark Isham.

New Lines RUNNING SCARED will open nationwide on February 24, 2006.

A famous soccer coach has been murdered and his priceless ring stolen a ring set with the stunning diamond known as the Pink Panther. Cracking the case becomes a national obsession, and Chief Inspector Dreyfus (Kevin Kline), up for the prestigious Medal of Honor again for the seventh time cant afford any mistakes at least none that can be attributed to him. Enter indefatigable Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Steve Martin), a name that strikes fear into well, everyone. A stunning pop star (Beyoncé), a soccer player, a Chinese assassin who committed the crime? His deductive powers are limited, his command of the language frightening, his reflexes hazardous. His approach may be alarmingly unorthodox, but he always solves the crime in his own fashion with hilarious results.

The fun and exciting score was composed by Christophe Beck, with a large tip of the hat to the late, great Henry Mancini. Mancinis classic original theme is given a thrilling new performance here and also woven throughout the new score with some inventive arrangements.

Washington stars as New York police detective Keith Miller, a tough, street-smart cop fighting for a promotion while trying to live down accusations of misconduct connected to his last case. When he and his partner are dispatched to the scene of an in-progress bank robbery and hostage crisis, Miller must face off against a well-educated criminal (Owen) masterminding a concisely plotted operation. As negotiations grow more strained, a powerful lawyer with mysterious ties (Foster) becomes involved in the crisis...and Miller slowly begins to realize that in this ultimate game of cat and mouse, rules are arbitrary, all roles are up for grabs and the black-and-white of right and wrong has blurred to a shadowy landscape of gray.

The score for Inside Man was written and recorded by Terence Blanchard and is a powerful and stirring blend of orchestral and jazz themes.

Universal Pictures Inside Man opens nationwide on March 24.
