2:04-2:37 klingt wirklich großartig, kanns kaum mehr erwarten bis ich den Film sehe
Ab 3:00 setzt dann Grand Bazar/Istanbul von SF ein, nur halt verändert. Find ich aber super, da so eine gewisse Kontuinität herrscht wie damals bei John Barry

Wäre aber höchst an der Zeit dass mal ein Bond-Score einen Oscar bekommt. Warum man damals John Barry ständig ignorierte werd ich wohl nie verstehen

Jep der Score erscheint erstmals bei Decca Records.
Was meint ihr wie stehen die Chancen dass es sich um eine Doppel-CD handeln wird? Der Film soll ja 147 Min. lang sein. Bei einer CD würden natürlich aus Platzgründen viele viele Stücke fehlen.

Kann mir eigentlich jemand erklären wieso der Bond-Score von "The Spy who loved me" schon bei der Erst-Veröffentlichung neu eingespielt wurde (bis auf 2 Tracks glaub ich)?
Warum bringt man da nicht mal den Original-Score heraus, es ist wirklich ein Ärgernis, gerade bei den Roger Moore Filmen ist die Situation extrem unbefriedigend. Octopussy, A View To A Kill, The Man with the golden gun...
Vor allem das Stück aus "A View To A Kill", wo Bond Stacy rette,t und die Leiter runterklettert, ist eines der besten Stücke von Barry, wurde zwar mal von Nic Raine neu eingespielt (Track heißt Fanfare), aber klingt weit nicht so gut wie das Original

Seems that EMI/EON etc. shows their true face - we own all rights for film, music. Somewhere we have original tapes (they are not completely missing - I'm tired to say this once and once again - people saw them at Pinewood, they just not in it's place in archives, but somewhere they exist). We can release all scores again. Even in expanded form. But we don't want to do this. And we don't allow to anyone else to release even re-recording. And of course we will not cooperate with Intrada/LLL/Kritzerland/Varese/Quartet etc., as they WANT to release Bond scores, but WE don't bother about Bond/Barry fans at all.

Dass ist jetzt wohl ein Scherz oder?
Dear Everyone It is with great regret that I have to cancel this Kickstarter project before any funds are taken. Certain rights issues have been raised which might mean protracted negotiations with the companies involved which may well go beyond the end of the project. I would sincerely like to thank everyone for their involvement in the project and if negotiations are successful then I have the knowledge that there is a great demand for this title. this is the real story about the missing tracks from Moonraker. I've called myself Studios Davout who confirmed me the following... What a wast and shame ! :
Stephane Lerouge, the head Universal Jazz soundtracks in France in the collection "Ecoutez le cinema", gave a long and very interesting interview for the french website UNDERSCORES (in order to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their 1st release. Among many things, he talks about MOONRAKER. This is what he says :
" in 1992, I attended a recording session in the Studio Davout in Paris where the MOONRAKER soundtrack had been recorded. The Film had been shot and edited in France because it was a French co-production. The tapes had been stored in Davout and, some 15 years ago, Davout sent a series of letters to producers and music editors saying "Some time ago, you worked in Davout and we have a room filled with tapes. Maybe some of them belong to you. If you do not claim them within 3 months, the unclaimed tapes will be destroyed". Some composers like Vladimir Cosma or Claude Bolling, ran to Davout in order to save their tapes. And this how the Moonraker tapes disappeared : Nobody at MGM went there to get them. But did the MGM executives receive the letter from Davout? I don't know. Because in the midtime, UA had closed their offices in Paris and their catalogue had been tranfered to MGM. This how Moonraker remains one of Barry's last Holy Graal, but still an unreachable Graal. The only thing we ca hope for, is a re-recording."-

Gibt es denn noch nirgends Hörproben (abgesehen von dem einem You-Tube Track)? Sind ja schließlich nur mehr wenige Tage bis VÖ.
