Music from the Movies meldet, dass die Agentur von James Horner & Hans Zimmer, Gorfaine-Schwartz, 2 neue Projekte der Komponisten bestätigt hat, welche bisher nicht zu 100% sicher waren. Zum einen handelt es sich um das Sequel zum 1998er Film "The Mask of Zorro". Schon dort schrieb James Horner den Score und wird es auch im nachfolgefilm "The Legend of Zorro" tun. Mit dem 2. Projekt wird auch ein bereits vorhandenes Gerücht bestätigt (siehe hier): Hans Zimmer wird den Score zum neuen Ron Howard Film "The Da Vinci Code" schreiben, welcher im Mai 2006 ins Kino kommen soll. Die DVD Seite The Digital Bits berichtet das Warner Bros. eine neue 4 Disc DVD Edition des Filmes "Ben Hur" angekündigt hat. Der Film selber ist auf 2 DVDs verteilt und enthält neben einem Audiokommentar auch den Score von Miklós Rózsa. Erscheinen soll die Fassung am 13. September, allerdings vorerst nur in den USA. Bisher hatte ich das Problem nicht, allerdings sehr wohl bei meinen "Schweigen der Lämmer" & "Terminator" DVDs. Um auf Nummer Sicher zu gehen, werde ich die CDs wohl doch mal auslagern.

Das sicher nicht, eher die Sache mit dem Webserver der Seite.

Wurden die Gebete erhört und es kommt eine Doppel-CD zu "Alien"? Wäre wirklich phantastisch.

Ich verzeihe dir das mal da du den Film noch nicht gesehen hast, aber genau das ist im Film wunderbar.

Im Prinzip das gleiche: Neben John Debney's Score, gab es ein Soundtrack Album und eines mit christlich inspirierten Titeln.

Der Soundtrack-Club ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Ich hoffe doch. Trotzdem habe ich das unbestimmte Gefühl leer auszugehen was die DVD betrifft.

Oh verdammt, dass scheint mir dann entgangen zu sein. Aber mal ehrlich: Die Praktik hab ich damals bei "Passion of the Christ" schon nicht verstanden, aber Hauptsache der Score wird veröffentlicht.

Bekannt ist nichts (nicht mal gerüchteweise), aber durchaus denk- und wünschenswert. Ich schätze, George Lucas wird es sich nicht nehmen lassen hier auch noch einige Male die Star Wars Cashcow zu melken.

Wie man auf billboard.com nachlesen kann, planen EMI und Disney die Veröffentlichung von 4 verschiedenen CDs. Neben dem Score, komponiert von Harry Gregson-Williams, wird es noch 3 weitere CDs geben: die erste wird eine Zusammenstellung von Rock und Pop Songs sein, wie man es bereits kennt. Die 2. wird, wie schon bei "Passion of the Christ" zuvor, gefüllt sein mit Titeln von christlichen inspirierten Künstlern. Die 4. und letzte CD im Bunde wird für Kinder sein. "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe", basierend auf den Büchern von C.S. Lewis, kommt im Dezember 2005 ins Kino. Klingt ja bisher ganz nett, aber ich gebe erst eine Meinung ab wenn man das Album komplett hören kann.

Kommt ganz drauf an was erscheint bzw. was mich gerade interessiert. Mehr als 100 Euro sind es aber nicht, eher weniger.

Das gleiche mit Arcor. Das habe ich mit MFTM aber des öfteren und mache mir da nie große Gedanken. Allerdings würde ich schon gern am Sonntag die DVD bestellen.

Eine sehr schöne Auswahl Sebastian. Einige Sachen davon finde ich bei mir auch wieder. Grüße nach Spanien und noch einen schönen Urlaub.
