Roque Banos is set to reteam with director Fede Alvarez on the upcoming horror thriller A Man in the Dark. The film starring Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto, Stephen Lang and Jane Levy follows a group of teens who break into a blind man’s home thinking they will get away with the perfect crime. Alvarez has also written the screenplay with Rodo Sayagues. Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, Oz the Great and Powerful, Drag Me to Hell) is producing the project for his Ghost House Pictures company alongside Rob Tapert (The Grudge, Xena: Warrior Princess). Banos has previously scored Alvarez’s last movie Evil Dead, which was also produced by Raimi & Tapert. A Man in the Dark is currently in post-production and is set to be released on August 26, 2016 by TriStar Pictures.

Banos’ upcoming projects also include Ron Howard’s In the Heart of the Sea, Alejandro Amenabar’s Regression and Kevin Reynolds’ Risen.
