L’R du Trésor will release a soundtrack album for the French comedy Sink or Swim (Le grand bain). The album features the film’s original music composed by Jon Brion (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia, Lady Bird, Paranormal, Trainwreck, The Other Guys). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including Tears for Fears, The Notorious B.I.G., Isaac Hayes, Tame Impala, The Wash, Phil Collins & Phil Bailey & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Sink or Swim is directed by is by actor Gilles Lellouche and stars Mathieu Amalric, Guillaume Canet, Benoît Poelvoorde and Virginie Efira. The movie revolves around a group of 40-something guys, all on the verge of a mid-life crisis, who decide to form their local pool’s first ever synchronized swimming team – for men. The comedy premiered earlier this year at the Cannes Film Festival and will be released in French theaters on October 24. No word yet on a domestic release.
