Jan A.P. Kaczmarek (Unfaithful, The Visitor) provides a poignant and uplifting score.

In addition to his famous female consorts, his 20+-year marriage to Catherine of Aragon, and the infamous dalliance with Anne Boleyn, THE TUDORS delves into Henrys most notable political relationship and the deconstruction of the Roman Catholic Church in England. Season 4 the final season focuses on Henrys ill-fated marriage to Katherine Howard, his uncommonly successful final marriage with Katherine Parr, an attempted invasion of France and the question of the kingdoms leadership after Henrys death.

Composer Trevor Morris won the 2007 Emmy Award for Best Theme for THE TUDORS and his music for Season 4 exhibits his best work yet, allowing him the opportunity to bring this epic saga to a powerful close.

Season 4 of THE TUDORS will be available on DVD and BluRay on October 12.

ich freu mich auf beide veröffentlichungen. vorallem der score von kaczmarek ist interessant, da der japan import auch so teuer ist. also sehr schön. jedoch dachte ich immer der hund heißt hachiko und nicht hachi. naja wird schon seine gründe haben.

Der Hund heißt Hachiko, wird im Film aber eigentlich durchgehend Hachi genannt. Irgendwann hat man wohl die Schlussfolgerung gezogen und den Filmtitel in den USA angepasst. Mir hat die Musik im Film (wie der Film selbst auch) sehr gefallen. Die CD kommt auf meinen Einkaufszettel.

Oh, über die Veröffentlichung von Hachi: A Dog's Tale freue ich mich auch sehr. Ich war nämlich schon kurz davor das Album aus Japan zu importieren.
