Ok Stefan, was du alles so weißt, obwohl das ja ein Disney-Kurzfilm ist und "Turning Red" ein Pixar-Film ist. Doch es ist nicht sein erster Ausflug in das Animationsgenre, wie du mit "Inner Workings" gezeigt hast. Danke.

Also letzteres bezweifle ich und ich denke auch nicht, dass er Richtung Black Panther oder Creed geht... da sind die Filme dazu doch zu unterschiedlich. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass es ein schöner verspielter orchestraler Score wird mit tollen Themen. Alles andere würde mich schon sehr überraschen.

Frank Ilfman ist eh ein Komponist, der mir schon länger ganz gut gefällt, vor allem sein "Ghost Stories", aber auch sein schöner Dramascore für "The Etruscan Smile". CD ist wohl keine geplant. Milan Records scheint sich nun auch öfters nur auf den digitalen Markt zu konzentrieren.

Ja, Drubich hat vermutlich nur die Szenen aus 1666 vertont. Ich hab gerade den Film gesehen und das passte auch. Vereinzelte Instrumente sowie auch die eher vorsichtigere Vertonung. Der Film war zu Beginn ruhiger als die anderen und fühlte sich auch weniger wie ein Horrorfilm an. Erst als auch da das Chaos losging, wurde die Musik lauter, kann man sagen, aber niemals so im positiven Sinne "over the top" wie in den vorherigen Teilen. Als sie dann wieder im Jahr 1994 waren, wechselte der Stil wieder zu dem aus dem ersten Teil, bei dem dann wieder Trumpp mit von der Partie war. Musikalisch gesehen eine gute Idee, dass sich die Scores ein wenig voneinander abgrenzen. Mir gefielen alle drei Scores auf ihre eigene Art sehr gut.

Diese stammen von Hans Zimmer, Murray Gold, Henry Jackman und Alexandre Desplat. Ebenfalls im Programm ist der Geheimtipp des Monats: "Bed of Roses" von Michael Convertino. Der CW-Favoritenblock (Goldsmith/Horner der Woche) und einige News aus der Welt der Filmmusik sind auch dabei. Im Tracklisting gibt es ja das Stück "Order in the Court", welches früher auftaucht und eventuell die Szene mit den Geistern untermalt. Es wurden ja einige Szenen in der Post-Produktion gekürzt oder ganz entfernt. Ray Parkers Song taucht, soweit ich weiß, im Film im Score nicht auf. Nur der Song "Spirit" wird im Score verarbeitet, als Egon die Straße aufbohrt. Und am Ende noch mal.
Laut den Hörproben scheinst du richtig zu liegen. Der Gerichts-Actiontrack, von dem BimBam spricht, das könnte echt "Order in the Court" sein und endlich bekommen wir das wunderschöne "Dana Theme" von Randy Edelman.
Mittlerweile glaube ich, dass "The Scolari Brothers" der "an additional track originally recorded for Ghostbusters II but not featured in the film." ist. -
Doch klar, auch wenn ich in keinem der Fankreise bin, erfahre ich durch die Facebook-Seiten einiges davon. Die treffen sich auch öfters, meistens bei sowas wie die Comic-Con, natürlich dann in Ghostbusters-Outfit inkl. selbst gebauten Protonenpack.. hier mal ein Bild aus 2018, was ich im Internet gefunden habe.
Also ja, Ghostbusters hat hier in Deutschland ein schon großes Fandom, und in den USA ist das klar sogar noch viel größer. Die kaufen bestimmt alles, was den Namen "Ghostbusters" trägt, besonders wenn es offiziell ist. Daher denke ich schon, dass Sony mit dem Release gute Zahlen machen wird. Dazu ist die Veröffentlichung auch unlimitiert und zu normalen Preisen verfügbar. Glaub die CD kostet aktuell 15 Euro.

Ja, die Resonanz auf diversen Ghostbusters-Seiten ist auch recht hoch, also ich denke... das ist auch für die Nicht-Filmmusik-Fans unter den wirklich großen Ghostbusters-Fans fast schon ein Pflichtkauf. Die Fanbase ist ja extrem groß, immer noch. Die Ghostbusters-Seiten machen ja auch gut Werbung für das Release und behandeln es schon gefühlt als Sensation. Anscheinend hat sich auch der Sony-Release vom ersten Teil wirklich gut verkauft, sonst würden sie nicht wieder das volle Progamm machen (Digital/CD/Vinyl). Also ja, ich denke der wird schon gut weggehen.

welches damals, glaub ich, herrlich leichtfüßig als sigourney weavers thema zu hören war, wenn ich mich recht entsinne. und DIESES heitere, leichtfüßige stück all die jahre NICHT zu haben, hat mir schon mächtig gestunken.
Beweist einfach auch, das man einfach nur Geduld haben sollte. Vielleicht bekomme ich dann auch irgendwann James Horners abgelehnte Musik für "Young Guns".
Aber ja... das Release zu "Ghostbusters II" zeigt, dass man niemals aufgeben sollte zu hoffen.

Vielleicht ist das auch ein Alternatives Stück... denn kann mich gar nicht erinnern, da auch das Ghostbusters-Thema von Ray Parker jr. gehört zu haben. Muss den Film mal wieder sehen. Aber ok... bald wissen wir mehr... wenn alles gut geht, noch ein Monat und ein paar Tage.

Naja.. Rob Marshall hatte ja nur was mit Zimmer zu tun, weil dieser der Hauptkomponist der "Pirates"-Reihe war. piksieben hat Recht: Alan Menken wird Arielle vertonen. Das ist hier im Board auch schon länger bekannt siehe Link. Das war sogar schon bekannt, bevor es überhaupt einen Regisseur gab. @SilvestriGirl sollte das auch schon wissen, denn sie hat in dem Thread auch schon was geschrieben
Bei Schneewitchen steht schon fest, dass die "Greatest Showman"- und "La-La Land"-Komponisten Benj Pasek und Justin Paul für die Songs zuständig sind. Ich bezweifle es stark, dass hier Zimmer die Musik schreiben wird, denn erstens ist das schon sehr viele Jahre her, zweitens war das auch nur eine einzige Zusammenarbeit und drittens passt Zimmer auch nicht so recht in dieses Projekt. Vielleicht wird es auch ein reines Musical, was ja das Mitwirken von Pasek und Paul bekräftigen würde.

So langsam glaube ich daran, dass das von mir so lange sehnsüchtig erwartende Release wirklich stattfinden wird. Doch 100% glaube ich erst, wenn ich die CD in meinen Händen habe. Danke für das Posten des Backcovers.
