Die Macher von L'Ennemi Intime haben für Netflix eine TV-Serie gedreht und Desplat hat die Musik geschrieben.
Alexandre Desplat has composed the music for the upcoming Netflix original series Marseille. The show is created by Dan Franck and stars Gérard Depardieu, Benoît Magimel, Géraldine Pailhas, Nadia Farès, Gérard Meylan, Nassim Si Ahmed, Antoine Coesens, Nozha Khouadra and Maruschka Detmers. The 8-parter centers around the city election between the long-time mayor Robert Taro and a younger ambitious candidate. Franck is also executive producing the political drama with Florent-Emilio Siri (My Way) who also directed the first four episodes.

Bin sprachlos. War mit den Kumpels im irish pub und hab dafür das Konzert von Hans in Brüssel sausen lassen.
Ich hatte das gesamte Spiel lang immer das Gefühl, dass es nicht reichen wird. Selbst als es 1-3 stand wusste ich dass die Reds das noch aufholen werden. Aber großes Spiel von beiden Mannschaften, Leidenschaft, Kampf, echter Fußball eben.
Am Ende ist es einem dann fast egal ob er eine Karte für das Finale in Basel hat...

Wenn kein Desplat, dann denke ich doch mal dass Giacchino das ganze übernehmen wird. Selbst wenn keiner aus der Produktion mit dem bisher nichts zu tun hatte, würde es mich nicht wundern.

James Newton Howard schreibt den Score für den Harry Potter-Ableger:
James Newton Howard has been tapped to score the upcoming fantasy adventure Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The film is directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo and Alison Sudol. The movie is based on the book of the same title by J.K. Rowling and follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York’s secret community of witches and wizards 70 years before Harry Potter reads his book in school. Rowling has also written the screenplay and is producing the project with David Heyman (Harry Potter series, Gravity), Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram (Sherlock Holmes).

Daran hab ich auch gedacht als ich das gelesen hab. So ganz wird er da aber sicherlich nicht verschwinden, Hans macht doch immer irgendetwas wenn man auf den Knien rutschend vor ihm ist und bettelt. Das wird so bleiben.
Hans ist ja zurzeit in London und Probt für seine Tour die nächste Woche Mittwoch startet.
In der Zeit wird ihm die Frage noch bestimmt 100000 mal gestellt werden.
Ist doch genau wie Craig mit Bond oder Jackson mit Mittelerde.

Antoine Fuqua's Remake von THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN wird von einem Langjährigen Mitarbeiter des Großartigen James Horner Vertont. Simon Franglen:
Simon Franglen is currently recording his music for the upcoming The Magnificent Seven remake. The score is based on themes that late composer James Horner wrote before he passed away last summer. The movie is directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, King Arthur) and stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lee Byung-hun, Manuel Garcia Rulfo, Martin Sansmeier, Haley Bennett and Peter Sarsgaard. The film is based on the 1960 classic western of the same title, which was itself based on Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai and follows seven gun men in the old west who gradually come together to help a poor village against savage thieves.
Roger Birnbaum (Rush Hour, The Vow, The Count of Monte Cristo) and Todd Black (The Pursuit of Happyness, A Knight’s Tale, The Equalizer) are producing the project. Franglen has collaborated with Horner as an arranger, score producer and synth programmer on numerous scores over the last seven year, including Avatar, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Karate Kid, Wolf Totem and The 33. He also produced the late composer’s last score for Fuqua’s Southpaw. The Magnificent Seven will be released on September 23, 2016 by Sony Pictures.
Möglich, dass es tatsächlich Material von Horner in den Score schafft. Hoffentlich.

Rupert Gregson-Williams has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming action adventure The Legend of Tarzan, replacing Mario Grigorov. The film is directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) and stars Alexander Skarsgård in the title role, as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz. Adam Cozad (Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit) and Craig Brewer (Footloose, Hustle & Flow) have written the screenplay based on the Tarzan stories created by Edward Burroughs.

Nachdem Giacchino den 2. Teil Vertont hat ist Randy nun wieder mit dabei:
Randy Newman revealed in an interview with The Advertiser that he is set to compose the music for Pixar’s upcoming animated feature Cars 3. Owen Wilson is expected to return to voice Lightning McQueen, while Larry the Cable Guy is expected to reprise his role as Mater. No plot details have been revealed yet, but the film is said to feature a tribute to Hayao Miyazaki’s movie The Castle of Cagliostro. No director has been announced, but John Lasseter who directed the first two parts will be producing the project. Newman previously scored 2006’s original cars film, while Michael Giacchino composed the music for the 2011 sequel.

Nach TMNT wird Brian Tyler nun auch das Power Rangers Reboot Scoren:

John Gatins (Real Steel), Burk Sharpless & Matt Sazama (Dracula Untold), Zack Stentz & Ashley Miller (X-Men: First Class) and Max Landis (Chronicle) have written the screenplay.

Wenner schon da ist, dann wird er den auch bekommen bzw. hat man ihm das vorher sicher schon gesteckt dass er den erhält, sonst hätte er sich die ganze Reise dahin sicherlich auch gespart. Immerhin ist er ja grade in Europa auf Tour.

Klingt zwar richtig Bescheuert, aber hinter den Kulissen von Disney wird wohl zurzeit über ein mögliches Avengers/Star Wars Crossover nachgedacht. Einen ersten Entwurf soll es wohl auch schon geben.
Wenn die Gerüchte stimmen und die Deppen wirklich vorhaben das umzusetzen, dann gute nacht.

Desplat macht einen Ausflug in den Dokumentarfilm:
Alexandre Desplat is scoring the upcoming French documentary France Les habitants. The film is directed by Raymond Depardon (Journal de France) and follows the filmmaker as he drives through France, from the north to the south, and stops in front of homes and places of business to meet the people of France. Claudine Nougaret is producing the project for Palmeraie et Désert. The documentary will be released in France on April 27, 2016.
