Ich hab mal durchgezappt.. und die ruhigen rein orchestralen Passagen klingen gut, aber ansonsten klingt der Score, wie Monaco sagte, sehr künstlich. Da haben es die Leute mal wieder übertrieben, das Orchester danach noch mal zu "verfeinern". Meiner Meinung nach verliert der Sound des Orchesters dadurch die Lebendigkeit, und das ist gerade bei so einem Score doch sehr schade.

Nee.. Silvestris Musik passt meiner Meinung nach so gar nicht zu den Szenen. Da hat Danny Elfman schon bessere und vor allem passendere Arbeit abgeliefert.

Neues Projekt für Joe Kraemer und Penka Kouneva.

Wir haben die zweite Woche des Monats und das bedeutet, dass es um 18 Uhr im faulen Anfangsblock Tracktitel mit einem gemeinsamen Wort geben wird. Dieses Mal lautet es "Light", und die Tracks dazu kommen u.a. von George Shaw, Anne-Kathrin Dern, Basil Poledouris und Henry Mancini. Ansonsten gibt es in EINFACH NUR FILMMUSIK auch wieder ein paar Titel aus "Matchstick Men", dem Geheimtipp des Monats und die eine oder andere Neuigkeit aus dem Filmmusikbereich ist auch mit dabei.
Es ist Sommer. Da packen viele Leute ihre Kisten voll mit Sachen wie Sonnenschirm, Luftmatratze, Strohut, Badeklamotten und Wassermelone. Und was macht Smutje TomTom? Neues Projekt für Marianelli

The film is written and directed by Garrone (Dogman, Gomorrah, Tale of Tales) and stars Roberto Begnini as Geppetto, alongside Gigi Proietti as The Cat, Rocco Papaleo as The Fox and Marcello Fonte as The Parrot, as well as Federico Ielapi, Massimo Ceccherini, Matilda De Angelis, Alida Baldari Calabria, Alessio Di Domenicantonio, Maria Pia Timo and Davide Marotta. Garrone is also producing the Archimede Films and Rai Cinema production with Jean Labadi (Indochine) for Le Pacte and Jeremy Thomas (The Last Emperor, Only Lovers Left Alive) for Recorded Picture Company and Leone Film Group. Pinocchio is set to be released this Christmas in Italy. No word yet on a domestic release.

Heute war ich mal wieder in unseren Gebrauchtwarenladen hier in Passau und hab mir da für wenig Geld diese beiden Filme gegönnt.
Eine DVD für meine Stallone-Begeisterung und die andere für meine romantische Ader. Ich mag solche Filme, und Get Carter kenne ich schon und fand ihn damals solide.

Alan Silvestri war der Hauptkomponist für den ersten Teil, doch dessen Ideen gefielen Bruckheimer nicht, und daher sollte er von Hans Zimmer ersetzt werden. Dieser war, ich glaube, aber vertraglich an einem anderen Projekt gebunden, und so kam Klaus Badelt ins Spiel. Dieser komponierte dann mit Hans Zimmer und dutzenden anderen Komponisten aus der Hans Zimmer-Firma den Score.
Edit: Sehe nun, dass silvestrigirl schon geantwortet hat.. das wurde mir irgendwie nicht angezeigt.

Shaft (2019)
Ich war echt gespannt auf das weitere Kapitel der Shaft-Geschichte, und ja, ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.
Gut, die Story an sich ist schon arg 08/15, total vorausschaubar, und ist auch mehr Komödie als die vorherigen Filme. Trotzdem macht der Film aber jede Menge Spaß, was auch an den Darstellern wie Samuel L. Jackson, Richard Roundtree und Alexandra Shipp liegt. Nur gerade das neue Shaft-Familienmitglied Jesse Usher als Sohnemann versagte aber etwas für mich persönlich beim seinem Spiel, wenn er entsetzt über die Herangehendsweise von seinem Vater war, aber abseits davon machte er doch eine gute Figur.
Die Musik von Christopher Lennertz war funky und hatte auch den einen oder anderen Shaft-Moment. Ja, schlecht ist was anderes. Die Songs aus dem Hip Hop und Soul-Bereich, welche hier schon sehr dominant waren, gingen auch in Ordnung. Nur die neue Version des Shaft-Songs mit dem Titel "Too Much Shaft" gefiel mir so gar nicht. Der versagte echt bei allem, was dem originalen Song ausmachte. Interessant übrigens, dass in den Credits drinstand, dass hier auch Scorematerial von David Arnold aus dem 2000er Shaft verwendet wurde. Leider kenne ich Arnolds Score so gut wie gar nicht. Daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen.
Fazit: Ja, ein sehr unterhaltsamer Film, obwohl er sehr überraschungsarm ist und in Sachen Shaft nur die Charaktere gemeinsam hat. -

Ich würde mir den Film nur wegen Zimmers Score im Kino anschauen wollen. Ist er raus, geh' ich nicht rein.
Dann wirst du wohl draußen bleiben, falls Dan Romer der Komponist bleibt, denn Romer hat so rein gar nichts mit RCP zu tun, und damit wird da nicht sowas passieren wie bei der verfluchten Karibik.

Charlie Kaufmann setzt für seinen neuen Film nicht erneut auf Carter Burwell, mit dem er zuletzt "Anomalisa" gemacht hat, sondern auf den, für mich sehr unbekannten Komponisten Jay Wadley.

Ich finde aufgrund dieser Musik eine gute Wahl. Bin gespannt, was er für Kaufman's Drama schreiben wird.

Volker Bertelmann arbeitet erneut mit Dustin O'Halloran zusammen, mit dem er schon den, meiner Meinung nach gelungenen Score für "Lion" geschrieben hat.

The soundtrack is comprised of short excerpts of the composer’s music from Mishima, The Fog of War & Naqoyqatsi , movements from Symphonies 2, 3 and 8, Violin Concerto No. 1, as well as the operas Akhnaten and Satyagraha. The pieces were newly recorded for the project with the City of Prague Philharmonic under the baton of Richard Hein. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 19. A CD version is set to be released on August 16 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Samurai Marathon is directed by Bernard Rose and stars Takeru Satoh, Nana Komatsu Mirai Moriyama, Shota Sometani, Munetaka Aoki, Ryu Kohata, Yuta Koseki and Danny Huston.
