Trevor Rabin is scoring the upcoming ABC drama Blood and Oil. The show is created by Josh Pate (Aquarius) & Rodes Fishburne and stars Don Johnson, Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Delroy Lindo, Amber Valletta, Scott Michael Foster, India de Beaufort, Yani Gellman and Caitlin Carver. The series follows a couple who dream of a new life and move to “The Bakken” in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history, where they are pitted against a ruthless tycoon who forces them to put everything on the line, including their marriage. Johnson is also producing the ABC Studios production with Josh & Jonas Pate, Tony Krantz (Dracula) and Cynthia Cidre (Dallas). ich hatte es schon auf imdb gesehen, nur war in den details komischerweise keiner gelistet. paul linford wird wohl auch wieder co-komponist sein. aber klar...schön zu hören

aber nur noch Serienarbeit für Rabin? Naja gut, Bruckheimerfilme gibts ja irgendwie auch grad keine mehr oder?

der film MAX, für den trevor die musik komponiert hat, startet nächste woche in den amerikanischen kinos. ist zwar kein blockbuster, aber immerhin ein kinofilm, zu dem es eine scoreveröffentlichung auf cd geben wird. außerdem arbeitet er an einem weiteren soloalbum. zusammen mit den serienarbeiten scheint er gut ausgelastet zu sein.

auf seiner managment seite steht nichts davon, dass rabin an dieser serie arbeit, nur dass die 2. staffel von 12 monkeys ansteht und er den tv thriller agent x vertont. auf imdb ist der vermerk auch wieder verschwunden.

die erste folge wurde nun ausgestrahlt und es stellte sich heraus, dass nicht rabin die serie vertont, sondern mark isham. rabin und paul linford arbeiten jedoch an einer anderen serie, Agent X.
