  4. Dragon’s Domain Records presents music from the original score to TIME AFTER TIME, composed by the legendary Miklós Rózsa (BEN-HUR, KING OF KINGS, EL CID) for the 1979 science fiction thriller directed by Nicholas Meyer (THE DAY AFTER, STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN), written by Karl Alexander, Steve Hayes and Meyer, starring Malcolm McDowell, Mary Steenburgen and David Warner. TIME AFTER TIME starts with the premise that H.G. Wells actually constructed the time machine which he wrote about in his classic novel. TIME AFTER TIME is a romantic thriller in which Wells (McDowell), the scientific genius, tracks Jack the Ripper (Warner), the criminal genius, from 19th-century London to 20th-century San Francisco in order to bring the Ripper to justice. When Wells is transported in his time machine to modern San Francisco, he seems to be more of a babe in the woods than a sophisticated Victorian gentleman. What he finds is that some of his predictions have come true, while others, like a utopian society, have not... Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1907, composer Miklós Rózsa studied the violin from the age of 5. While living in London in 1935, Rózsa was hired by legendary producer Alexander Korda to score his film, KNIGHT WITHOUT ARMOR. Later, while composing the music for another Korda production, THE THIEF OF BAGDAD, Rózsa moved to California, where he remained for the rest of his life. Throughout his film career, he worked in many genres but distinguished himself writing music for the film noirs of the 1940’s and the great costume epics of the 1950’s and 1960’s. A classically trained composer, Rózsa was well known for his dedication to researching the musical history of the time periods of the films he worked on. His filmography includes music composed for films such as THE THIEF OF BAGDAD, THE JUNGLE BOOK, DOUBLE INDEMNITY, SPELLBOUND, THE LOST WEEKEND, QUO VADIS, IVANHOE, JULIUS CAESAR, KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE, BEN-HUR, KING OF KINGS, EL CID, THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES, THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD and TIME AFTER TIME, among others. Originally released on vinyl by Entr'acte at the time of the film’s release, this presentation of the score is a rerecording produced by the composer and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Southern Cross would release this program later on compact disc in the early days of the format. In 2009, Film Score Monthly released a compact disc with the original film tracks for the first time. Dragon’s Domain Records presents this new release of TIME AFTER AFTER, featuring the rerecording produced by the composer, newly remastered by James Nelson at Digital Outland and retaining the original album liner notes by director Nicholas Meyer and John Lasher. Following the original album program is a selection of bonus tracks of additional music composed by Miklós Rózsa, including music from PROVIDENCE, THE LOST WEEKEND, SPELLBOUND, THAT HAMILTON WOMAN and THE PRIVATE FILES OF J. EDGAR HOOVER. TIME AFTER TIME is a limited edition release of 500 units. TIME AFTER TIME will begin shipping the week of Sept. 29th, 2025 01. W.B. Fanfare* And Prelude (2:09) (* - Max Steiner) 02. 5. Dragon’s Domain Records presents music from the original score to KING KONG, composed by the legendary Max Steiner (GONE WITH THE WIND, CASABLANCA, THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE) for the legendary 1933 epic adventure KING KONG, directed by by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack, written by James Ashmore Creelman, Ruth Rose and Cooper, starring Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, Bruce Cabot, Frank Reicher and Sam Hardy. Director Carl Denham (Armstrong) leads a film crew to a remote, uncharted Pacific Island in search of the legendary Kong, a gigantic ape. After the island’s inhabitants abandon actress Ann Darrow (Wray) to Kong, Denham and his crew pursue the beast through the dinosaur-infested jungle. They eventually capture Kong and take him to New York as a sideshow attraction, with disastrous results... Born on May 10th, 1888, Max Steiner was an Austrian composer and conductor who emigrated to America and became one of Hollywood's greatest musical composers. Steiner was a child prodigy who conducted his first operetta when he was twelve and became a full-time professional, proficient at composing, arranging, and conducting, by the time he was fifteen. Threatened with internment in England during World War I, he fled to Broadway; and in 1929 he moved to Hollywood, where he became one of the first composers to write music scores for films. He is often referred to as "the father of film music", as Steiner played a major part in creating the tradition of writing music for films, along with composers Dimitri Tiomkin, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Franz Waxman, Alfred Newman, Bernard Herrmann, and Miklós Rózsa. Steiner composed over 300 film scores with RKO Pictures and Warner Bros., and was nominated for 24 Academy Awards: His filmography includes THE INFORMER, NOW, VOYAGER, AND SINCE YOU WENT AWAY, LITTLE WOMEN, JEZEBEL, CASABLANCA, THE SEARCHERS, A SUMMER PLACE and GONE WITH THE WIND, which ranked second on the AFI's list of best American film scores, and is the film score for which he is best known. He was also the first recipient of the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score, which he won for his score for LIFE WITH FATHER. Steiner was a frequent collaborator with some of the best known film directors in history, including Michael Curtiz, John Ford, and William Wyler. Originally released on vinyl in 1976 by Entr’acte and later on compact disc in 1993 by Label X, Dragon’s Domain Records is excited to bring KING KONG roaring back to the marketplace, featuring a rerecording of music composed by the legendary Max Steiner, performed by the National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Fred Steiner. The music has been newly remastered by James Nelson at Digital Outland. The booklet includes the original extensive liner notes written by Fred Steiner and Fay Wray for the album. 7. Music by Steve Jablonsky Limited Edition of 3000 Units La-La Land Records, Paramount Pictures and Milan Records present a remastered and expanded 20th Anniversary CD re-issue of renowned composer Steve Jablonsky’s (TRANSFORMERS, BATTLESHIP, LONE SURVIVOR) original motion picture score to the big screen 2005 sci-fi action/drama THE ISLAND starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, and directed by Michael Bay. A sci-fi drama as minded about social commentary as its crackerjack action was a new challenge for director Michael Bay and he called on acclaimed composer Steve Jablonsky to provide a sonic foundation to blend the film’s cerebral elements and intimate personal drama with its blockbuster action set-pieces. Jablonsky delivered big – with a riveting, evocative score that is as propulsive as it is dreamlike and atmospheric, melding electronics and programming and orchestra in expert fashion. This deluxe 20th Anniversary expanded and remastered showcase unleashes the full brilliance of this notable work. Produced by Stéphane Humez and mastered and edited by Maxime Marion from studio vault elements, under the supervision of the composer, this special limited edition CD release of 3000 units features the film score presentation over Disc 1 and Disc 2, with additional music presented on Disc 2. The exclusive in-depth liner notes are by writer and journalist Kaya Savas, featuring a new interview with the composer. The sharp art design is by Dan Goldwasser. 8. Trailer: Album details: 1. What Are You? (4:04) 2. Drive to Hospital (1:42) 3. Judy Warren (3:19) 4. Last Rites (2:12) 5. The Cupboard (2:33) 6. Trash Day (3:00) 7. Judy and Tony (1:15) 8.

  10. LLLCD 1646 Music by Trevor Jones Limited edition of 5000 Units La-La Land Records and The Jim Henson Company present an expanded 3-CD soundtrack set of renowned composer Trevor Jones’ (CLIFFHANGER) original motion picture score to the 1982 landmark fantasy feature film THE DARK CRYSTAL, directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz. THE DARK CRYSTAL was a boundary-exploding feat of puppetry and cinema, re-inventing what had been previously thought possible and resulting in a breathtaking achievement of immersive world-building that still retains its power and wonder to this day. A vital part of this endeavor’s success is composer Trevor Jones’ outstanding original music score – a tremendous accomplishment that has also stood the test of time. Now, for the first time ever, this deluxe 3-CD release, conceived, assembled and produced by Trevor Jones himself, features the bounty of music the maestro composed for the initial, longer cut of THE DARK CRYSTAL, in its original intended order. Copies of the master tapes recorded at CTS Wembley were digitized along with the composer’s entire body of work, which is now archived at the University of Leeds. Jones personally reassembled and remastered the audio at Abbey Road for this special presentation. Produced by Trevor Jones and Tim Greiving, and mastered by Andrew Walter under the composer’s sole supervision and approval, this release includes a wealth of previously unreleased music within its newly Expanded Score Soundtrack presentation, which is spread across two discs, while the original 1982 soundtrack program is featured on Disc 3. Limited to 5000 units, this deluxe set includes a 32-page booklet containing exclusive, in-depth liner notes by Greiving (featuring new interviews with Trevor Jones and Frank Oz) and rare artwork and photos from the Henson Archive. 11. Music Composed and Conducted by John Williams Limited Edition of 3000 Units La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures proudly present a remastered CD reissue of renowned composer John Williams’ original motion picture score to the 1977 dramatic feature film thriller BLACK SUNDAY, starring Robert Shaw and Bruce Dern, and directed by John Frankenheimer. A white-knuckle suspense thriller chronicling a diabolical terrorist attack on the Super Bowl via airborne blimp needed a score to wind the film’s ticking clock tension with precision. At the time, Williams’ recent FAMILY PLOT and legendary JAWS scores made him a perfect choice to tackle BLACK SUNDAY. His score to the film is pitch-perfect – a winding tapestry of percussion and ominous atmosphere that had the audience on the edge of their seats, while the inner conflicts of the characters are explored through emotionally resonant melodic material. The composer’s remarkable ability to balance action and suspense with human drama is on full display within this remastered presentation of the Maestro’s few forays into the political thriller genre. Reissue Producer Mike Matessino has newly mixed and mastered the score from first-generation 16-track analog scoring elements, transferred in high resolution by Paramount Archives. Following the main Score Presentation, tracks of Additional Music feature three pieces of source music Williams composed for the film and the original end credits composition, “The End,” without the percussion track. This was considered as an alternative before it was decided to track tense action music over the credits. The program concludes with the music as presented for the ending of the picture, opening with the revised ending of “The Explosion.” This short cue was recorded long after the main scoring sessions. As no master element could be located, the cue is presented from the original mono dubbing stem for the film, processed for stereo. This Limited Edition CD re-issue of 3000 units features all new, in-depth liner notes from writer Jeff Bond and winning new art direction by Jim Titus. 19. Intrada presents the world-premiere release of Ernest Gold's score for the western The Last Sunset, the latest release in the Universal Pictures Classics Collection. Right at the outset, Gold's main title lays out the themes that form the backbone of the score, in the bold Americana style of Aaron Copland. On screen, as camera pans across rugged desert terrain, two different men, one dressed in black and the other in browns and blues, ride toward their destiny to music reminiscent of Fanfare for a Common Man. It sets the tone for a music score that has all the trappings of a complex yet robust western. In addition to Gold's often thundering score, is a recurring theme not by Gold, but none other than Dimitri Tiomkin by way of his melody for the song "Pretty Little Girl in the Yellow Dress." Intrada founder Doug Fake had often asked about releasing this soundtrack, but it seemed there was always another title to prioritize. With his passing nearly a year ago, it seemed like the right time but also too late. It's a gem of a score and just another way the Intrada team can honor his memory and passion for film music. Produced with love and care by the Grammy-nominated producer Mike Matessino, the album was sourced from the full-track master tapes stored at Universal in excellent condition. The package is rounded out with detailed liner notes by Frank K. DeWald and restored cover art by Stephane Coedel. The western drama was directed by Robert Aldrich and stars Rock Hudson and Kirk Douglas. In the film, Brendan O'Malley (Douglas) is a fugitive gunslinger who flees to Mexico and joins a cattle drive led by Dana Stribling (Hudson), a lawman pursuing him for murder. As tensions rise between the two men, complications deepen when O'Malley falls in love with the daughter of his former lover—unaware of a shocking truth about her parentage. THE SCORE 01. 21. Music composed and conducted by John Barry Limited edition of 5000 units Exclusive release Sold exclusively at www.lalalandrecords.com for the first 90 days of release. La-La Land Records, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, EON Productions and Universal Music Enterprises present a remastered and expanded 2-CD re-issue of renowned composer John Barry’s original motion picture score to the sixth James Bond film, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, the 1969 film stars George Lazenby as James Bond 007 and is directed by Peter Hunt, who edited the five previous Bond films. With four legendary Bond scores already to his credit, composer John Barry reported for duty for the fifth time to provide the musical continuity and introduce a new 007, as George Lazenby would be first to succeed Sean Connery in the iconic role of Bond. The score, like the film, is thrilling and powerful, bursting with action, drama and glamour – and considered by many to be one of Barry’s finest works, as demonstrated within this deluxe 2-CD release. This remastered and expanded presentation of Barry’s score includes the songs “We Have All The Time In The World,” performed by Louis Armstrong and “Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?,” performed by Nina, with lyrics by Hal David The album is produced and mixed by Neil S. Bulk, and mastered by Doug Schwartz, from the original 3-track 1/2" masters, with the song "We Have All The Time In The World" mixed from the original 1" 8-track tapes. Two cues that were unavailable on the stereo tapes are in the program’s bonus section, pulled from the mono film stem and processed into stereo by Chris Malone. Disc 1 and the opening of Disc 2 present the expanded score presentation. This is followed by the original 1969 soundtrack album, newly edited and mixed for this release. Disc 2 concludes with additional cues, including an unused film version of the song "We Have All The Time In The World" featuring Louis Armstrong. Limited to 5000 units, this release features sharp art direction by Dan Goldwasser, with a new front cover designed by Jim Titus. The exclusive, in-depth liner notes are by journalist and author Jon Burlingame, with an introductory note by composer David Arnold. TRACK LISTING: DISC 1 SCORE PRESENTATION 1:28:18 1. 23. John Carpenter’s soundtracks for the most recent Halloween trilogy, made alongside his frequent collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, marked the legendary director and composer’s return to film scoring after nearly two decades away. 2018’s Halloween, 2021’s Halloween Kills, and 2022’s Halloween Ends were all directed by David Gordon Green, who engaged Carpenter early in the pre-production process, ultimately enlisting him as both an executive producer and soundtrack composer for the trilogy. In listening to the recent Halloween scores, the collaborative spirit among the composing trio is one of the first things that jumps out. The now-famous bowed guitar part on Halloween’s “The Shape Hunts Allyson,” like all the guitar parts strewn across the trilogy, is played by Daniel Davies. John calls Daniel “the adventurer” of the group, and credits him with introducing sounds he’d never have considered. Cody, who his father refers to as a “musical savant,” is an equally essential presence. It’s his steady, methodical hand that helps give shape to the ideas that fly around when these three get in a room together. The scores for the new films may be centered on familiar themes, but they’re also a lot more sonically diverse and musically audacious than anything John could have pulled off in 1978, when he made the original Halloween. In addition to the individual expanded releases, the Halloween Expanded Trilogy will be available as part of a deluxe limited box set, offered in 6xLP and 3xCD formats. These editions feature exclusive new packaging and artwork by Chris Bilheimer, along with expansive liner notes by music critic Brad Sanders, which include exclusive interviews with John Carpenter and director David Gordon Green. Also included on both box sets are three collectible posters designed by Creepy Duck, a box set-exclusive poster design by Chris Bilheimer, and a deluxe lenticular cover that brings the artwork to life. An essential release for Carpenter collectors & film score fans. - Includes all 3 Expanded Editions of the Halloween Trilogy - All with new artwork & packaging by Chris Bilheimer - 121 tracks out of which 35 unreleased tracks across 6xLPs / 3x digipak CDs - Exclusive liner notes & interviews with John Carpenter & David Gordon Green - Each expanded edition comes with a poster designed by Creepy Duck - Plus a boxset-exclusive poster design by Chris Bilheimer - Features deluxe lenticular cover art HALLOWEEN (2018) 1.
