HOSTEL

Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Music Composed by Nathan Barr

Quentin Tarantino presents ...

Written and Directed by Eli Roth

"The scariest American movie in a decade." Ain't It Cool News

Internationally renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino presents Eli Roths HOSTEL, the follow-up to the writer-directors hit debut, 2002s CABIN FEVER. More grisly than Roths feature bow, HOSTEL is a mixture of many of the most terrifying things about human nature and the world at large, culled from many impossible-but-true stories of human trafficking, international organized crime, and sex tourism. Relentlessly graphic and deeply disturbing, the film is sure to shock even the most hard-core genre fans.

HOSTEL tells the story of two adventurous American college buddies Paxton and Josh who backpack through Europe eager to make quintessentially hazy travel memories with new friend Oli, an Icelander theyve met along the way.

Paxton and Josh are eventually lured by a fellow traveler to whats described as a nirvana for American backpackers a particular hostel in an out-of-the-way Slovakian town stocked with Eastern European women as desperate as they are gorgeous. The two friends arrive and soon easily pair off with exotic beauties Natalya and Svetlana. In fact, too easily

Initially distracted by the good time theyre having, the two Americans quickly find themselves trapped in an increasingly sinister situation that they will discover is as wide and as deep as the darkest, sickest recess of human nature itself - if they survive.

The films evocative score was composed by newcomer Nathan Barr (Cabin Fever, The Dukes of Hazzard). Scored for full symphony orchestra, the music is at turns both beautiful and frightening.

Sony Pictures opens HOSTEL nationwide on January 13.

Dicks sudden reversal of fortune has left him little time to set money aside for a rainy day. Now its raining buckets as Dick and his loving wife Jane (Leoni), watch in horror as their deluxe suburban home, their luxury cars and their status-conscious friends quickly vanish into thin air.

After playing by the rules and working single-mindedly to build a comfortable life for his family, Dick is utterly unprepared to give up the American dream. Taking a lesson from his corrupt employer, however, Dick hits on a brilliant idea: if stealing was good enough for his boss, then its good enough for him.

Using his newfound skills, he and Jane exact hilarious revenge and teach big business a lesson. Theodore Shapiro contributes a rhythmic, fun, romp of a score that is melodic and energetic.

NANNY McPHEE

Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Music Composed by Patrick Doyle

Emma Thompson

Colin Firth

As father of seven of the naughtiest children in the world, Mr. Brown has lost control. Seventeen nannies have been driven away and he has lost all hope of ever finding another. But then, one day, a mysterious and magical figure turns up at the door. Her name is Nanny McPhee. With her bizarre looks and special powers, it seems that the Brown children may finally have found their match.

The screenplay for Nanny McPhee was written by Emma Thompson and is an adaptation of the Nurse Matilda books, written in the early 1960s by Christianna Brand. The story is set in the late Victorian/early Edwardian England in a small village on the edge of London.

Emma Thompson, the only person to have won Academy Awards for both acting and writing, also plays the title role, opposite Colin Firth, Kelly McDonald and Angela Lansbury. Kelly McDonald, who recently starred as Peter Pan in Finding Neverland, joins the cast as Evangeline, the kindly scullery maid, while Angela Lansbury, winner of six Golden Globe Awards and four Tony Awards, makes a welcome return to the big screen after an absence of two decades. The impressive cast also includes Celia Imrie, and BAFTA winner, Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake).

The wondrous and fantastical score is by composer Patrick Doyle and performed by the world-famous London Symphony Orchestra. One of the finest of all contemporary film composers, Patrick Doyles fame began with his monumental score for Kenneth Branaughs acclaimed production of Henry V. Doyles exceptional music has been heard in such films as Sense and Sensibility, Hamlet, A Little Princess, Gosford Park and Calendar Girls. Doyle also scored the blockbuster Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Universal Pictures opens Nanny McPhee nationwide on January 27, 2006.

With nothing left to lose, Jake decides to enter the notoriously fierce Navy boxing competition known as the Brigade Championships and face off against his arch-nemesis, Midshipman Lt. Cole (TYRESE GIBSON). Everything Jake has ever hoped for stands in the balance: the chance to make his father proud, to validate his Lieutenants faith in him, to stand up for his fellow plebes, and most of all, to forge a different future.

TRISTAN & ISOLDE

Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Music Composed by Anne Dudley

James Franco

Sophia Myles

This longtime dream project of producers Tony Scott (Spy Game, Enemy of the State, Top Gun) and Ridley Scott (Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Blade Runner) explores the medieval legend of a princess and warriors love affair, which threatens to tear apart an uneasy peace between England and Ireland. A tale of epic battles, royal intrigue and a timeless, star-crossed passion.

After the fall of the Roman Empire, Irish KING DONNCHADH (David OHara) brutally subjugates tribal England. There, young orphaned TRISTAN (James Franco) is raised by family ally LORD MARKE (Rufus Sewell). As a young man, the charismatic Tristan leads guerilla attacks on Irish occupying forces, ultimately defeating King Donnchadhs elite warriors. Believing himself to be mortally wounded, Tristan requests a funeral boat that eventually washes up on the Irish coast. Discovered by Irish Princess ISOLDE (Sophia Myles), the two fall passionately in love. All too soon Tristan must flee back to the safety of England. Meanwhile, King Donnchadh invites the English lords to contest for Isoldes hand, hoping to cause further discord among the bickering English barons. Unaware of Isoldes identity, Tristan fights in the tournament as Markes champion. Tristan is victorious but is devastated to learn Isoldes true identity. Lord Marke weds Isolde and prepares to become King of the now united England, ruining Donnchadhs plan. Despite their best efforts to stay apart, Tristan and Isolde eventually resume their affair. When King Donnchadh arrives in England for Markes coronation, he deviously unmasks the affair causing an English rebellion. Lord Marke forgives Tristan and Isolde as they defend Castle DOr from Irish troops. Tristan leads a battle against the Irish but is fatally wounded. As Lord Marke leads the reunited English troops to drive out the Irish, Tristan dies peacefully in Isoldes arms. The story is one of the great epic tragedies of all time, made famous by Richard Wagners masterpiece opera.

James Franco, who plays Tristan, is best known for his title role in TNTs James Dean which earned him a Golden Globe. Among his other credits are Spiderman I & II. Sophia Myles, who portrays Isolde, has also appeared in Underworld starring Kate Beckinsale and From Hell.

TRISTAN & ISOLDE is directed by Kevin Reynolds (The Count of Monte Cristo, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) and written by Dean Georgaris (Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, Paycheck, Mission Impossible 3). The beautiful and exotic score was composed by Anne Dudley.

Cheers, Tom
