Brian Tyler is currently recording his score for the upcoming action sequel xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The film is directed by D.J. Tyler has previously collaborated with Caruso on the features Eagle Eye, Standing Up and The Disappoinments Room. The 2002 original xXx film directed by Rob Cohen was scored by Randy Edelman and Marco Beltrami composed the music for the 2005 sequel xXx: State of the Union. xXx: Return of Xander Cage will be released on January 20, 2017 by Paramount Pictures. Following last month’s news of Brian Tyler recording his score for the action sequel xXx: Return of Xander Cage, it has been revealed that Robert Lydecker has co-scored the movie with the composer. Tyler and Lydecker are also working together on the music for the Fox series Sleepy Hollow, which will return for a third season in 2017. Tyler is reportedly also collaborating with Kill the Noise and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello on an original song for xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The movie directed by D.J. Caruso and starring Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Toni Collette, Donnie Yen, Kris Wu, Michael Bisping, Tony Jaa and Samuel L. Jackson will be released nationwide on January 20, 2017 by Paramount Pictures. 

Lydecker’s current projects also include ABC’s Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland, which the composer is co-scoring with Sean Callery. The show currently airs every Wednesday night.

Lydecker is cool ... aber interessant, dass jetzt auch ehemalige Assistenten von Tyler einen offiziellen Credit bekommen. Matthew Llewelyn hatte noch nie einen mit ihm, dabei schreibt er immernoch einen Großteil seiner Musik.

 

Frag' mich wie dicke man mit dem Tyler sein muss bis der sich erbarmt, Credit zu vergeben.

habe nach 8 titeln ausgemacht. zum einen typische tyler actionmusik, zum anderen klingt es wie ein weiter Fast & Furious teil, nur ohne das gewisse etwas von teil 3-5. sehr sehr langweile musik. da bevorzuge ich edelmans musik aus teil 1.
