Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Watchmen, The Punisher, Dawn of the Dead) is reuniting with director David Leitch on the upcoming action movie Hobbs & Shaw. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham who reprise their roles as sworn enemies Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw from the Fast & Furious franchise. They are joined by Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren. The movie follows the titular characters as they have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves. Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious series, Wanted) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the project with Johnson, Statham and Hiram Garcia (Rampage, Skyscraper). Bates has previously collaborated with Leitch on the original John Wick movie, as well as Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2.
