Last week, Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Wolf Hall, Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Vampire Killers) has recorded her score for the upcoming British biographical drama To Olivia (aka An Unquiet Life). The film is directed by John Hay (There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble) and stars Keeley Hawes as American actress Patricia Neal, Hugh Bonneville as her husband, the British children’s author Roald Dahl, as well as Sam Heughan as screen icon Paul Newman. The movie is set between New York, England and Los Angeles at the beginning of the 1960s, and focuses on Dahl’s struggles to write some of his most famous works and Neal’s return to acting with Hud, for which she finally won an Oscar. Hay also co-wrote the screenplay with David Logan (Circus) based on a novel by Stephen Michael Shearer.Ronall McCusker is producing the Align, Goldcrest Features and Atticus Films production with Adrian Politowski and Nick Quested. Wiseman has previously collaborated with Hay on his last several features, including Lost Christmas and The Truth About Love. To Olivia is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.

Album kommt Morgen von Decca (sogar auf CD). Wunderbar, dass es auch heute immer noch krachlose Musik gibt, die einfach schön ist. Konnte das Album schon hören. Toll!

Kann mir mal jemand an der Stelle ein paar ihrer Soundtracks nennen, die man in der CD-Sammlung haben sollte?

Ich glaube von Debbie Wiseman habe ich keine einzige CD. Vielleicht maximal auf irgend einem Sampler ein Stück.

Ich mag sehr von ihr einen ihrer ersten Scores oder sogar der erste..

oder auch der hier...

Haunted find ich auch sehr gelungen

aber auch "Wolf Hall" ist toll und viele andere. Am besten hörst dich mal durch.

Eine wunderschöne Komposition. Debbie Wiseman ist eine entzückende Person und meine Lieblingskomponistin. Sie ist vielseitig und sehr versiert. 

TO OLIVIA ist da keine Ausnahme. Das ist ein wunderschönes Thema. Ich freue mich auf diesen Soundtrack.
