Here, Williams begins with major-key motif that gradually builds thematically into massive orchestral crescendo, much in mannerism of his legendary “Leaving Home” music from 1978’s Superman The Movie. Hearing the epic peroration of this four-and-a-half minute piece, landing at its peak with Williams’ signature leading tonecadence, is a scoring highlight! MCA Records released a strong 37-minute album in 1984 of musical highlights featuring meld of original soundtrack recordings and newly recorded adaptations by Williams of his film cues. Special Intrada presentation includes re-mastered release of that classic album, plus world premiere release of full original soundtrack recording, boasting some 20 minutes of previously unreleased material. Weiß jemand wieviel da eigentlich fehlte? Habe den Film Lange nicht gesehen. Im Netz habe ich einige Aussagen gefunden, dass nur so 5Min fehlen würde. Ich tippe auf die Filmfassung, die dann so an die 40Min geht, inkl viel Material, welches wir nicht kennen, und dann das alte Album (37Min). Könnte also alles auf eine Scheibe passen. Naja, bald wissen wir mehr:)

Also die complete versionen die mal erstellt wurden (anhand des iso-scores der dvd) gehen zwischen 95-100Min. Ik freu mir auch!

Jip. Wird damit begründet, dass der chinesische Markt so wichtig wäre, aber dort grad niemand ins Kino geht. Aber gleich Sieben Monate verschieben... oh man. Da wird doch auch garantiert was am Film rumgeschnibbelt ?

Wahnsinn! Träume werden wahr!!!! damit hätte ich ja im Leben nicht mehr gerechnet. Ein unfassbar toller Score. Die damalige Fassung war wirklich eine Schande. das Jahr fängt ja großartig an!!! Es gab mal eine *husthust* Version von dem Score. Ging 60min. Hier ist nun endlich alles(!!) dabei.

Durchgehört... hmm weiß nicht. Hätte mehr erwartet. Aber mal sehen was im Film vorkommt:)

Hab ich mich auch gefragt. Wirkt eher wie Werbung. Zumal diese ganzen Themen in „die kleinen Veröffentlichungen“ eher passen würden. Aber nur meine Meinung...

Selber Ansatz wie Shearmur damals. Finds unspektakulär. Klangteppich. Im Film mag es funktionieren...

Nicht vergessen, Balfe is auch Brite Doyle und Armstrong auch... das wäre doch mal interessant...

Ist jemanden mal die Ähnlichkeit (geklaut aus der Klassik???) aufgefallen? Williams, Track: Great Escape, ab Anfang (2002): Und Debbie Wiseman, Arséne Lupin (2004), ab 8:51

Werden sicherlich 1-2 alte Sachen, wo keiner mehr weiß was das ist. Und zwei/drei Expandierungen, wo alle wieder „ohhhh unnötig“ brüllen. we will see:)
