William Ross wird die Musik zu dem Football-Drama "Tochback" und die Romantik-Komödie "Balls to the Walls" schreiben. Ich bin mal gespannt, ob es hier eine Score-Veröffentlichung gibt. Von "Touchback" wäre es vielleicht möglich, von anderen Film denke ich eher weniger.

For this CD reissue engineer Doug Schwartz worked from the ¼” 2 track stereo album masters from the Capitol EMI vault. The stunning 24 page booklet by Jim Titus features in depth liner notes by Williams historian Jeff Eldridge as well as reprints the notes from the original LP package. Sadly the complete recorded score has been lost to the ages and all that has survived is the LP masters. The tracks are identical to previous releases, but the sound has been greatly improved and Jim’s packaging is worth the price alone! While not the “definitive edition” we had hoped for, this release sure packs a wallop! If you never owned this score now is the time to pick it up! laut seiner eigenen Website kommt bei Intrada demnächst Wolfens rejected Score raus. http://www.craigsafan.com gabs vor x Jahren schon mal als Promo von Intrada... sehr dissonanter Score, erinnerte mich ein wenig von der Art an Corigliano, nur nicht so gekonnt. Sehr filmbezogen, hatte den mal auf den Film gelegt, funktionierte dort besser als auf CD. Intessant auch was er anders scorte und was vom Prinzip her ähnlich wie Jamie. Als Hörerlebnis aber recht anstrengend, weil so ganz themenlos eigentlich. Datum steht aber keins bei.

Am 18. Mai 2012 wird der Score zu MEN IN BLACK 3 von Danny Elfman bei Sony Classical erscheinen. Quelle: Amazon.de
