Deadly blessing von James Horner. Wäre originell, wennnn nicht so schamlos von Goldsmith' The Omen abgekupfert. Ich habe gehört, dass die noch existierenden Aufnahmen klangtechnisch unterirdisch seien. Das kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Was gerade über meine Kopfhörer läuft ist nicht DDD aber dennoch gut hörbar.

The adventurer, Presidio und Children of men sind verkauft.

Es bleibt nach wie vor DEIN Geheimtipp. Ich hätts wahrscheinlich eh übersehen

Der Holdridge ist grosse Klasse, hab noch das alte Bay Cities release

Das Jahr startet mit: - The life befor her eyes (James Horner) - Agnes of god (Delerue) - Silver streak (Mancini)

Tiomkins "Big sky" ist grandios. Since you went away fehlt mir auch noch in meiner nicht kleinen Steiner-Sammlung. Kannst bei Gelegenheit mal posten wie der so ist. Mancher Film verträgt nicht unbedingt eine 2-CD-VÖ (Battle Cry ist da so ein Beispiel). Rozsas Thief ist eine der besten VÖs des letzten Jahres und ich bin nicht unbedingt ein Fan der Prager.

Sind doch schöne Sachen dabei. Empfehle ausdrücklich Islands in the stream (mit dem tollen Peak-Cover) und The edge. Und wer mal was musikalisch richtig opulentes braucht, der greift zu Tiomkins LotP.

Schönes Review Markus, kenne weder Film noch Musik, werd ich mir jedoch definitiv holen. Wenn er dir so gut gefällt, dürfte es auch meinen Geschmack treffen, da liegen wir mit unseren Vorlieben nah beieinander. Kommt zudem wie ich aus der Blechbläserecke (8 Hörner...wow).

Muss erst noch warm werden, bin doch eher der konservative Typ...schaun mer mal.
