Wow! Großartige Neuigkeiten. Ich muss mir auch mal wieder den Original Soundtrack anhören. Gebe zu, das Album habe ich mir nicht allzu oft angehört. Da gab es andere Scores von James Horner, die immer wieder im Player gelandet sind. Bin auch mal auf die ersten Reaktionen gespannt.

Wow! Fantastisch! Ich freue mich sehr über die Veröffentlichung! Es ist schön zu hören, dass der Sound endlich verbessert werden könnte. Track 2 Hammerhead ist gefällt mir äußerst gut. Wie gut, dass dieses Stück nach über 40 Jahren endlich zur Verfügung gestellt wurde.

Ich bin auch überrascht wie gut der Score von Laura Karpman geworden ist. Ich muss mir mal den ganzen Score anhören. Bis jetzt kenne ich nur einige Stücke. Diese hier haben mir aber schon mal sehr gut gefallen:

Das ist fantastisch! Es sind somit auch keine Bearbeitungs-Spesen hinzugekommen? Ich freue mich, dass die BluRay die isolierte Score-Spur beinhalten wird. Es soll auch 2 Stunden Bonus-Material dabei sein. Da zahlt es sich aus die BluRay zu holen.

Ja, der Wegfall der 22 Euro-Grenze ist sehr schade und für mich nicht nachvollziehbar.

Disque : 20 beinhaltet wohl Easy Listening Stücke und Songs von und/oder mit John Williams. Zum Beispiel: "Dream Away" aus The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing mit Frank Sinatra. "The Same Hello, the Same Goodbye", ein Song, der ursprünglich für Frank Sinatra geschrieben worden ist, von ihm aber nie eingesungen wurde. Hier mit Barbra Streisand. Bei Henry Mancini's "A Powdered Wig" aus Combo! ist John Williams als Musiker zu hören. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass "Make Me Rainbows" aus Fitzwilly so populär war und viele Künstlerrinnen und Künstler inspiriert hat. Den Song haben neben der Chorus-Nummer aus dem Soundtrack auch Ella Fitzgerald, Michel Legrand und Nancy Wilson noch viele andere zum Besten gegeben. Welche Versionen werden wohl auf dieser CD zu finden sein?

Ja, besonders die Album-Fassungen von einigen Scores reizen mich hier sehr. Ich hoffe, dass es sich bei JAWS, JAWS 2 und EARTHQUAKE um die "Remastered Editions" handelt. Je nachdem wie der Preis ausfällt, könnte ich mir vorstellen hier zugreifen. Ist das eine Box von Universal France?

Interessante Frage, wobei es bei manchen Scores schwierig wird mit der Genre-Einordnung. COPYCAT und COMA zum Beispiel würde ich im Bereich Thriller einordnen. Die ALIEN-Filmreihe und WAR OF THE WORLDS sehe ich eher im Sci-Fi Genre untergebracht. Ja, die Scores von JNH zu den Shyamalan-Filmen waren alle großartig. After Earth bietet da nur ein paar interessante Stücke. Ich bin gespannt ob nur die Tracks 4-6 und 17-19 Neueinspielungen sind oder ob noch andere Stücke dabei sind.

Williams würde bestimmt weiter machen, wenn die Produktion in Hollywood nicht schon seit Monaten still stehen würde. Mir gefällt der Score von INDIY 5 sehr gut. John Williams hat das Album wirklich gut zusammen gestellt.

Klingt nach einem tollen Album. Laut Amazon.com soll die CD 1 Stunde und 11 Minuten lang sein.
