Beck macht den Peanut

 

Christophe Beck is scoring the upcoming animated feature Peanuts. The film is directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who!, Ice Age: Continental Draft) is based on the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz and marks the first CGI-animated fiom based on the property and the first feature featuring the characters in 35 years. The movie follows Snoopy who embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while his best friend Charlie Brown begins his own quest back home. Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat) is producing the Blue Sky Studios production with Bryan & Craig Schulz, Cornelius Uliano and Michael J. Travers. The project will mark Beck’s second animated feature following last year’s Frozen. Peanuts is set to be released on November 8, 2015 by 20th Century Fox.

Tolle Sache! Die Peanuts sind genau mein Ding und scheinen auch als Computer-Animation gut  zu funktionieren.

Ich bin einigermaßen gespannt!

Anscheinend wird es doch den einen oder anderen Song im aktuellen Chartsstil im Film geben.. wie die Trackliste von dem Soundtrack zeigt.

Auf den Film freue ich mich auch sehr - der erste Animationsfilm seit WALL-E, den ich mir wieder im Kino ansehen werde.

Mal schauen, vielleicht taugt ja sogar der Score was.

Ich berichtige mich - das Stück wurde mit einem anderen zusammengepackt und ist "Fifi's Theme".

Generell ist der erste Höreindruck nicht schlecht...

Zwar weniger jazzig und dadurch mit weniger "Peanuts-Feeling" als erhofft.

Macht aber dennoch Freude.

Wundervoll leichtfüßiger Animations-Score.

Die beiden Bravo-Hits brauche ich nicht, aber was solls.....

Weiß jemand, ob sich die US-CD (gelbes Snoopy-Cover) vom Inhalt der EU-CD (blaues Snoopy-Cover) unterscheidet, außer dass man die gelbe in D schon für 10,-$ bekommt und die blaue noch bei fast 25,-€ liegt?
