So, ich habe jetzt bei meiner Bank eine VISA Umsatzreklamation am Laufen und das Geld vorläufig zurück in der Pipeline. Varese bekommt nun die Möglichkeit, Versandnachweise zu „VISA“ zu senden. Wenn sie dem nicht nachkommen, wird meine Erstattung freigegeben und zurück gebucht. Dort bestelle ich definitiv nichts mehr.

Westernmusiken (auch im weitesten Sinne) sind immer in meinem Fokus. Wandert auf alle Fälle in die Sammlung.

Zu lange Wartezeiten dürfen bei einer Reihe auch nicht entstehen, sonst lässt das Interesse bei den Kunden nach.

Oh mann, immer wieder schön. Habe das Video bestimmt schon 15 mal angesehen:

Medicine Man hätte ich gerne noch in einem Remastering erfahren. Bei MOM AND DAD SAVE THE WORLD weiß ich nicht, ob da noch was fehlte.

Zwar jetzt keine Must-haves von mir, aber heute beim Hören von Arnold Schwarzeneggers neuem Hörbuch dachte ich mir: LAST ACTION HERO von Michael Kamen und TRUE LIES von Brad Fiedel hätten auch mal ein schönes Score-Album verdient. Holy Grails habe ich Dutzende Wünsche, vorrangig aus dem TV-Bereich. Aber wenn ich einen Filmscore herauspicken müsste, dann aktuell FUNNY FARM von Elmer Bernstein.

Tja, Geschmack und Geschmäcker ist bei den Filmen verschieden: GOLDFINGER finde ich am Besten. George Lazenby ist für mich ein sehr guter Bond und hätte noch zwei Filme mehr drehen können. SAG NIEMALS NIE ist für mich besser als sein Ruf und finde den ruhigen Titelsong als "Voiceover" über den Kampfszenen noch nicht mal sooooo übel entschieden. Timothy Dalton hätte für meinen Geschmack noch 10 weitere Bonds drehen dürfen. Und Daniel Craig wird nachwievor für mich die selbe Fehlentscheidung als Bond sein, genau so wie die Absage an Radiohead, deren SPECTRE-Song nicht zu verwenden.

Ich bin für kurz. Und generell für die Nichterwähnung „Limited Edition“. Denn selbst „unlimitierte“ CDs sind in gewisser Weise A.) limitiert und B.) trotz Nichtlimitierung heutzutage schneller ausverkauft als in den frühen 2000ern.

Angeblich kann das Presswerk die beiden Bond Titeln nicht rechtzeitig produzieren / liefern, wie ich verstanden habe.

Ich habe bei dem SALE keine "lebensnotwendigen" Scores bestellt und habe Varese eine Frist gesetzt. In den nächsten Tagen muss ich mal schauen (wenn Varese nicht reagiert), ob man auch bei einer VISA-Zahlung das Geld zurückholen kann.

Soeben beendet: Jaques Tati „Playtime“. Ein „hektischer“ Film, der trotzdem „entschleunigt“. Für mich ganz großes französisches Kino.

Robert Folk geht immer. Schön, dass Quartet was neues Altes von ihm publiziert.

So ist es bei mir auch. Ich "verstehe" Musik. Ich weiß, was sie transportieren will. Ich habe früher musiziert im Orchester. Ich kenne Noten und Bezeichnungen. Ich weiß durch Tonstudioaufnahmen, was musikalische Fehler sind und was richtig sein soll. Aber ich höre Musik vom Herzen heraus. CUTTHROAT ISLAND hat zwar nicht den Stellenwert für mich wie die "Seefahrt im All" namens STAR TREK VI von Cliff Eidelman, trotzdem ist CUTTHROAT ISLAND für mich ein musikalisch gelungener "Wumms-Score" und handwerklich top. Lieber höre ich mir sowas an, anstelle Hans Zimmers DUNE (ohne das Talent von Zimmer schmälern zu wollen und den ich als Person sehr verehre). Entweder mir gefällt ein Score oder nicht. Und CI gefällt mir nachwievor. Wenn ich mich aber den FÜR MICH besten Debney Score entscheiden müsste, wäre das CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS. Leider vermisse ich hier eine richtig schöne Score-CD.

Schön für Sammler, welche die LLL Ausgabe verpasst haben. Ich habe die LLL und brauche nicht aktualisieren.

Ja. Nur den Score von CD.

Ich wiederum finde den Score sehr öde. Geht für mich zu sehr ins Sounddesign. Es gibt zwar aufbauende Dynamikmomente, aber der Klangteppich insgesamt scheint dem Film geschuldet zu sein.

Also ich gehöre auch zu der Gruppe, die sehr skeptisch ist, ob der Film an alte Erfolge anknüpfen kann.

Hoffentlich nicht nur auf Vinyl das alles! Ansonsten sehr schön zu sehen, dass 2024 interessantes kommt.

LICENCE TO KILL wäre echt fällig. Gut, durch das Steifelbein kenne ich den Score mehr als auswendig. Aber eine offizielle Version fehlt sehr auf dem Markt und insbesondere in der Sammlung.

Auch bei OCTOPUSSY hat mich LLL überrascht, dass sie an den alten Bond-Scores dran sind. Und diese John Barry Ära finde ich sowieso interessant. Hier war Barry schon im Anflug zu seiner Melancholie, jedoch konnte er die Action nachwievor rasant einfangen.

Damit hat mich LLL massiv überrascht. Die Bond-Klassiker sind für mich jetzt schon ein Jahreshighlight 2024. Schwer zu toppen. Und mir egal, ob ich diese in und auswendig kenne…die Bond-Scores wandern bei mir regelmäßig in den Player. Endlich können die Stiefelbeine mit in den Müll. Ich hoffe auf weitere Titel, insbesondere A VIEW TO A KILL. Da fehlt in den Actionszenen jede Menge Musik auf dem Originalalbum. Egal ob es Szenen (auch ruhige Dialogszenen) auf dem Eiffelturm sind, oder als 007 mit dem Feuerwehrauto durch San Francisco fährt. Da war das Stiefelbein eine Goldgrube an fehlendem Scorematerial.
